KENNEL MANAGER Accepting Applications
We are currently looking for an experienced working Kennel Manager. The job would include not only working in the kennel but training new employees and making sure staffing is adequate at all times. You would be responsible for light maintenance, maintaining kennel inventory, lawn mowing, snow removal, any and all year round grounds keeping duties. Animal husbandry skills, basic medical knowledge, and a minimum of 5 years kennel or Veterinary hospital experience is required.
RECEPTIONIST,
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties. A minimum of 5 years reception or medical office experience required.
VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
Technicians are responsible for day to day hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors in all aspects of animal care, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical nursing procedures, pharmacy, daily operation and maintenance of all instruments and medical equipment, inventory management, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.
VETERINARY ASSISTANT AND KENNEL ASSISTANTS
Animal Care Assistants / Ward personnel are responsible for animal handling and restraint, bathing and grooming, cleaning and disinfecting, feeding and giving medications, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work, and grounds maintenance if needed and all other duties as assigned. This is a holiday and weekend job, we are here taking care of the needs of our clients when they are needing to be away for Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Easter...etc.
